  • This 3-day First Aid course is a Level 3 Award and recommended by the Health and Safety Executive (HSE).

    Our first aid at work courses provide the training, assessment and certification to become a qualified first aider.

    The course covers:

    • Principles of first aid

    • Prevention of cross infection

    • Basic life support (CPR & AED)

    • Breathing management

    • Managing unconscious casualties

    • Wounds & bleeding

    • Treating Anaphylaxis

    • Treating shock or sudden poisoning

    • Treating burns, poisoning & eye injuries

    • Treating common, major & minor illnesses

    • Managing asthma attacks & choking

    • Fractures, dislocation & head injuries

    • Managing epilepsy & diabetes

    • Record keeping & equipment use

    • Legal aspects & secondary surveys

    Upon successful completion of the multiple-choice question paper and practical exercises, each participant will receive an approved and nationally recognised ‘First Aid at Work’ certificate which is valid for 3 years.

  • This 1-day training course is a Level 3 Award, meets all guidelines, and the resulting qualification is recognised by the HSE.

    The course covers:

    • Aims and principles of First Aid

    • What to do in an emergency

    • Basic Life Support (CPR & basic use of an AED)

    • Management of the unconscious casualty

    • Assessment and treatment of a casualty who is wounded or bleeding

    • Choking and asphyxia

    • Assessment and treatment of burns

    • Assessment and treatment of miscellaneous medical conditions

    • Record keeping

    Upon successful completion of the multiple-choice question paper and practical exercises, each participant will receive an approved ‘First Aid at Work’ certificate which is valid for 3 years.

    £90 per participant.

  • This one-day course teaches participants how to provide the highest standard of emergency first aid to any children you may be responsible for.

    The course teaches the skills required to deal with life-threatening situations, and also provides the knowledge in how to deal with illnesses and injuries which can occur with children, including bleeding, asthma, burns, choking, fractures, soft tissue injuries, head injuries and more.

    This full day course covers first aid protocols for children under the age of 8 years old.

    The course covers:

    • Aims and principles of First Aid

    • Anaphylaxis & auto-injector use

    • Asthma

    • Bleeding (inc. nose bleeds)

    • Burns

    • Choking

    • Managing unconscious casualties

    • Fractures and breaks

    • Soft tissue injuries

    • Head injuries

    • Basic life support (CPR)

    • Other specific conditions

    £75 per participant.

  • Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) is an internationally recognised course which teaches people how to spot the signs and symptoms of mental health and provide help on a first aid basis.

    Adult MHFA courses are for everyone 16 years upwards. Our courses are delivered by a quality assured instructor whom is trained to keep people safe and supported whilst they learn.

    Research shows that taking part in this course raises awareness, reduces stigma around mental ill health, boosts knowledge and confidence and promotes early intervention which enables recovery.

    This two day course provides:

    • An in depth understanding of Mental Heath and the factors that can affect well being

    • Practical skills to spot the triggers and signs of mental health issues.

    • Confidence to step in, reassure and support a person in distress

    • Enhanced interpersonal skills (such as non-judgemental listening)

    • Knowledge to help someone recover their health by guiding them to further support – whether that’s self help resources, through their employer, the NHS or a mix

    Upon successful completion of the Mental Health First Aid course, each participant will receive an accredited certificate which is valid for 3 years.

    £270 per participant.

  • This 1-day course focuses on how to treat sport related injuries – from sprains, strains and fractures through to life threatening injuries.

    The physicality of any sport means that injury is an ever-present danger.

    Our sports first aid course will give participants the latest knowledge, skills and techniques to treat many of the most common sports injuries with confidence.

    The course will cover:

    • Aims and Principles of First Aid

    • Event planning and record keeping

    • Resuscitation (CPR)

    • Care of an unconscious casualty

    • Bleeds

    • Soft tissue injuries and management

    • Fractures and Dislocation

    • Fractures and breaks

    • Head injuries

    • Spinal injuries

    • Hyperthermia / Hypothermia

    Upon successful completion of the Sports First Aid course, each participant will receive an accredited certificate, which is valid for 3 years.

    £150 per participant.

  • This half-day course teaches individuals how to use a defibrillator as swiftly as possible and with full confidence, in the event of an emergency.

    Ever second counts in an emergency. The faster an AED can be successfully applied and used the higher the chance of survival from cardiac arrest.

    Participants will learn how to quickly identify signs and symptoms, unpack the defibrillator, accurately apply and use it with no hesitations to maximise the casualty’s chances of survival. Training in basic Life Support (CPR) and the legalities of defibrillation are also included.

    The course covers:

    • Basic life support (CPR)

    • Safety aspects of defibrillation

    • Breathing management

    • Incident assessment

    • Legal aspects of defibrillation

    • Life threatening cardiac rhythms

    • Practical training with a defibrillator

    Upon successful completion of the course, each participant will receive an AED certificate, which is valid for 1 year.

    £60 per participant.

  • This is a two-day course (Level 3 Award) recommended by the Heath & Safety Executive. By completing this course participants will re-qualify as a First Aider (if your original First Aid at Work certificate is about to expire).

    Alongside meeting HSE guidelines participants skills will also be refreshed. Vital, given that 3 years may have passed since their last accreditation.

    Upon successful completion of the multiple choice paper and practical exercises, each participant will receive a nationally recognised First Aid at Work certificate which is valid for 3 years.

    £250 per participant.
